Oxford-Man Institute: Academic Visitors

The OMI welcomes long-term and short-term academic visitors (PhD students, Postdocs, and academic faculty) who wish to join our team to conduct research on a wide range of quantitative finance topics that are within OMI’s research agenda;  see Director’s vision. Visitors will interact with OMI’s faculty, post-docs, and doctoral students, and will engage with the intellectual life of the institute.

Visitors may apply for financial support for their stay. They will have access to a user-friendly web-based data library and will be provided with working space at the OMI offices. The institute is in a premium location of the university and in a vibrant Oxford neighbourhood.

Visitors are encouraged to plan their stay during term time to ensure interaction with all members of the Institute. The length of the stay will be commensurate with the objectives of the project and will depend on visa restrictions. Ideally, visitors will spend enough time to embed themselves in the life of the OMI and to contribute to its scientific output.

Visas

Visitors are responsible for organising their own visas, if required. Further information can be found from https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/uk-visas-and-immigration
