Bateson will describe his experiences in managing a corporate arbitrage hedge fund with Man Group. The practical aspects of trading across the capital structure including equity, bonds, credit default swaps and leveraged loans will be outlined and how trades are practically structured, financed and executed. Different trading strategies including merger arb, cap structure arb, curves and various basis trades will be described and their risks explored.
